How to read & navigate the charts

How do I change the state or district?

Use the ZIP updater or choose a State and District from the form, then select Show Charts. The charts refresh with the new district’s data.

How is my age shown in the charts?

Your numeric age is used to highlight the relevant segment in age-based charts. If a bucketed chart is used, we place your age in the closest bucket.

Why doesn’t my income appear in the poverty chart?

The poverty chart focuses on populations at or below the threshold. If your income is above that line, we note it in the description rather than highlighting a bar.

Can I download or share a chart?

Yes—right-click (or long-press on mobile) the chart and choose Save image as…. If you’d like explicit “Download PNG” buttons, I can add them.

Why is a chart empty or missing labels?

Some districts have limited data for certain metrics. Try another district, or refresh if data failed to load. If the issue persists, it’s likely a data gap.

How do I reset the form?

Clear the inputs or reload the page, then pick a new state/district and submit again.
