Bill Tracker FAQs: Your Guide to Tracking Legislation
How can I see who voted for or against a specific bill?
To view the voting record for any bill, simply click on it. You will see a detailed roll-call vote breakdown by member, showing who voted Yea or Nay. You can also download the vote data as a CSV file for further analysis.
Can I filter bills to only show those with a recorded vote?
Yes. Use the Has votes toggle to list bills with recorded votes, or Recent roll call (≤30 days) to find the latest vote activity.
How do I save a bill to track it over time?
Add it to your Watchlist (★). You can also export the currently filtered results to CSV for offline tracking.
Where do your bill and roll-call data come from?
Our data is aggregated directly from official, nonpartisan congressional sources. We present this information in an easy-to-use interface with bill timelines and vote summaries to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Can I search by a bill number, title, or sponsor?
Yes. Use the search box for bill IDs (e.g., HR 123), full/partial titles, or sponsor names.
